Merry Christmas

The children had a fantastic time at our Christmas party and they all loved to meet Santa.

Superstar 22.12.16

Our superstar works so hard all the time in every single subject. He is such a quiet, hardworking little boy who always puts in 100% effort in. He always listens and knows exactly what he is supposed to do. He joins in activities and provides detailed answers in discussions. He is a pleasure to teach and we are so proud of him.

 

Superstar 15.12.16

Our superstar this week is an absolute star! She is so enthusiastic in everything she does and produces work to an extremely high standard. She is a lovely friend and plays so well with her peers. She is a joy to have in our class and always brightens our day with a beautiful smile. Her literacy work is wonderful and she even uses speech marks. She is a true pleasure to teach ! We are so proud of her . 

 

Superstar 8.12.16

We are extremely proud of our superstar this week. She has really grown in confidence over the past few weeks and is trying so hard in everything she does. Her hand is up a lot more on the carpet joining in discussions and she is really enjoying doing her work.

               

Superstar 1.12.16

Our superstar this week is always an absolute pleasure to teach. She works so hard independently and always tries so hard. She is a lovely friend and always plays so nicely . She is very well mannered and could be our superstar every week. She puts 100% effort into everything she does and never gives up. We are so proud of her. 

Superstar 24.11.16

Our class superstar this week has grown so much in confidence and gives everything a good go! He listens so well and his hand is always up answering questions on the carpet. He is always very polite and has such  lovely manners all the time. He has been such a maths wizard this week completing some really tricky work. We are so proud of him. 

Superstar 17.11.16

Our superstar this week is such a lovely, kind and polite young man. He is always ready to learn and even if he finds work hard, he always perseveres and never gives up. He is a very good friend and always plays nicely. He is an excellent role model and his behaviour is outstanding. We are so proud of him . 

 

WW2 day at school

The children dressed up and looked absolutely fantastic! We learnt lots about evacuation in World War 2.

Superstar 10.11.16

Our superstar this week has really grown up. She is helping others, putting her hand up and being a lovely polite girl. She is really working on her targets and this is helping her make her work better. She is thinking for herself a lot more and is starting to become a good independent worker. Keep it up. Well done. 

Our class potion shop

This week we have had such fun making spooky potions and writing instructions. The children have had some excellent ideas and have worked so hard.

 

Superstar 27.10.16

Our superstar this week tries so hard in every single lesson. Her hand is always up to answer questions on the carpet which is so lovely to see. She pereseveres so much with her work and even if she finds it tricky she never gives up. Her confidence has grown so much since September and we so very proud of her. She is a lovely member of our class and is an absolute delight to teach. 

 

Superstar 20.10.16

This week our superstar has been shining so brightly. She is always so lovely and such a polite little girl. She always listens so well on the carpet and gets on very well independently. She was able to retell lots of interesting facts about our trip to the synagogue too. She is an absolute pleasure and sets an excellent example to others.

Our class superstar this week is an absolute pleasure to have in class. She is such a lovely , kind and sensible girl who works hard in everything she does. She works so well independently and always uses her initiative. We are so proud of her.

Our superstar is such a lovely and polite young boy. He always sits so well on the carpet and is always keen to learn. He produces some excellent independent work and takes great care with presentation. He is a lovely friend too. We are so proud. He is an absolute pleasure to teach.

1KG CLASS SUPERSTAR 29.09.16

Our superstar is an absolute pleasure to have in our class. She comes into school everyday with a big smile on her face, which is so lovely to see and she shows enthusiasm with everything we do in year 1. She is a fantastic friend to others and always looks out for her classmates. She has tried so hard this week with her tricky maths work. We are so proud.

Spellings 30.09.16

Please find below your child's phonic group spellings. Please could you support your child learning how to write each of these words in preparation for our spelling test on Friday. The words will not be tested in this order and they will be mixed up. Your child will usually bring home their results and a new set of spellings every Friday.

1KG Superstar Week 3 22.09.16

Our superstar has grown in confidence over the last few weeks in class. She is eager to participate now in activities and is producing some excellent work. She always listens so well on the carpet and knows exactly what she is supposed to be doing. She sets an excellent example of behaviour to our class and is a true delight to teach. We are very proud 😀.

This week our superstar has worked so hard. He has grown in confidence so much since reception and his hand is up all the time answering questions on the carpet. He has produced some excellent neat work and is a keen  and eager member of the class. We are so proud of him and he is a delight to teach.

Welcome to Year 1.

We hope you all had a lovely summer. Here you can find out about everything we do in our class. The children have settled in really well and are really enjoying their time in Year 1. We will post pictures about activities we are completing and will also post our superstars of the week on here too.
