RE Gifts
In RE we all made each other a rocket bookmark as a gift. We discussed how it feels to give and receive gifts. We also talked about the importance of being grateful and polite for any gifts we receive. The children loved this activity.

Superstar 23.11.17
Our superstar this week is such a mature young lady.
She is so helpful around the classroom and always uses her initiative at all
times. She listens so well on the carpet and puts her hand up regularly with
lots of excellent ideas. She works incredibly hard at the table and produces
some fantastic work independently.
Superstar 16.11.17
Our class
superstar this week has blown us away with his fabulous reading. He has come
on fantastically and is trying so hard every day in Guided reading. He loves to
help others with words when they are stuck and his fluency when reading now is
amazing. He loves answering questions about what is happening in books which
shows how fantastic his knowledge is progressing. He is such a lovely, happy
little boy and is such a pleasure to teach.

WW2 Day
We have had such a fantastic day learning all about WW2. We have learnt all about Remembrance day and also all about when children were evacuated in WW2. We imagined that we were about to be evacuated from a big city to a small village. We had to think what we would pack in our suitcase and we also thought about the things we would miss if we were evacuated. The children had some fantastic ideas and placed them in order of importance.
We looked absolutely fantastic in our outfits. |
